This is actually a prepared clip I believe.....Only because the last documentary about Joe has him OPENLY and loudly proclaiming that He was the cause of Ali's condition from his left hooks and this and that. It wasn't vicious but he made it clear he wasn't very fond of Ali's treatment of him. Especially after he'd befriended Ali during his troubles with the Govt after being a no-show to his induction for the draft.

To see the forgiveness in Smokin Joe Frazier, toward's another fighter who flat did him wrong in Muhammad Ali, is truly touching. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, because SJF had more Heart than any sport's figure I've ever seen in my entire 60yrs! I love that Joe forgave Ali & I especially love that they made peace with each other before Joe unexpectedly passed first. RIP Oh Great one's, for you shall forever be Legendary 🙏 😞

Joe Frazier was a class act. And even if Ali was just promoting the fight he really hurt Joe deeply. And alot of people don't know during Ali's suspension from boxing. Joe Frazier feed Ali n his family and gave him money to pay his bills and he also helped Muhammad Ali obtain his license regained it again to box Joe Frazier was a class act and he never once threw it up of his financial support of Muhammad Ali during Muhammad's downtime when he had no money. Joe Frazier was a great boxer and a great human being. We could sure use alot more Joe Fraziers in the world. R.I.P. SMOKING JOE

Ali initially was an acquired taste for most people. It was like people felt a lil guilty about enjoying it, but then eventually said what the hell. I saw the changes in my own family. At first they thought he was arrogant, Disrespectful, & a bad sport. They couldn't weight to see him lose, but they'd have to keep watching him to do it. Suddenly after too many hits on their funny bone, they suddenly got it. They got what made him tick & they loved it. My whole family often sat around talking about his latest. escapades & his banter with Howard Cossel who they initially didn't like either. It got to the point that, because we all finally liked him, that we wanted to see Frazier feel the same, because he was just so damn likable. He was smaller than most heavy weights, but such a gentlemen , a ferce fighter. & wore his feelings on his sleeves. What a great rivalry Ali & Frazier had. I miss that.

That's the thing it never were friends. Muhammad Ali apologized to Joe Frazier truly minute from his heart is Joe Frazier act like you forgave him he never really did he talked about it later on he never forgave Muhammad Ali and always held a grudge towards him the only reason he went overseas to see him in special bass to Muhammad Ali because the company paid for it I didn't have a free trip to another country and fly back home so he went and all he was like my good friend Joe Frazier deep down the side Fraser so hated him Joe can never let go all his resentments towards Ali

He was necessary in the growth and trilogy that Ali had. It’s a shame that he was not respected and idolized like Ali. Joe was a good man who helped Ali in his greatest time of need. Smoking Joe Frazier fought Ali in Manila with one blind eye. Money, opportunity and desire to win kept him as a gladiator. Whether he won or lost the fights are really irrelevant in so many ways. He faced Muhammad and won the greatest fight of life. He deserves so much more. Rest In Peace great warrior. Smoking Joe Frazier champion of the world
