Im glad i came across this channel damn. Chuck norris and bruce lee get all the glamour but ive never learned so much about fighting tactics and technique from listening to joe lewis talk for 10 minutes.

It's a shame we lost Joe. I never got to join any of his seminars. The difference it makes to learn from an actual world champion. Someone that's actually stepped in the ring and won a title. Even if his world titles were on US soil. Makes all the difference in the world (VS some one who's never competed on any level or never fought full-contact). Most Karate schools just teach what they know...which has no basis in actual combat. Taught just for income and some fitness. Depends what our goal is. Use MA for fitness or actual "self defence in an actual fight (one on one ofc)".

if u can - go to a seminar with either Bill Wallace or Benny Urquidez - both full contact champs - both great teachers.
