Thank you for appealing to a different demographic with this documentary. The average person has NO IDEA what is going on in these companies who claim to be 'doing their bit' they only see what the companies want them to see! Keep fighting the good fight 🤜

@@JerzyFeliksKlein The perilous situation the world is in heading towards Climate Breakdown and with our governments utterly co-opted by vested interests and deaf to the climate science definitely justifies the toilet humour. Hear Hear- this video needs to go viral as another commenter said and I am sharing it like crazy, (with a warning that its shocking!). If you want to deny the likelihood of climate breakdown read Hothouse Earth book by UCL Professor of Climate hazards and volcanology Bill McGuire first. I have read it. Also an expert witness report he has done for an upcoming court case of mine for protests done with Just Stop Oil. Go on read the book and see if you can still go on about toilet humour!

Just watched your documentary, which in turn brought me here, your advert is the best thing I've seen in years, Shell have been taking the piss wherever they like for years and covering it up with misdirection and a big legal team.. I posed a question to one of their senior employees via LinkedIn, I asked why they were promoting Shells alleged new green initiatives when next to nothing had been done in the Delta region where they had made and caused various environmental damage, the lady's answers very much skirted around the question, Shell has caused incredible damage to various areas of Africa too by burning the fuel lines after leaks from the pipes under the land, they never hold their hands up. So glad you helped bring Shell and their shocking practices back into the public eye Joe. Great advert.

I'm interested to know why after being with a green energy company, following their recent demise, I've been transferred to Shell? How much have they paid the governmrnt for that contract?
@dietcoke76

Because they went bankrupt? And your green energy company was supplying you with gas that they did not produce themselves. That's how dependency on Russian gas looks like.

"Nothing" is the simple answer. No energy company wants to take new customers at the moment because with current prices each customer is making them a loss.

As much as I love the confidence of joe, i can't see the damage being reversed. The world needs oil to survive it isn't the Oil that's the problem it's the fact that the world is more over populated than it ever has been. More to the point why is the UK bending over for all this when we are a tiny speck in the overall doing

I'm gona be honist I'm not one of the people who go crazy for climate change. I don't do loads of crazy stuff to help. But if everybody thinks they are a small part of the problem. Nothing would be done. Just my opinion

I see what you said as being both right and somewhat wrong. Not many people see it your (our) way so thank you for that. Overpopulation is definitely a problem but we would have eventually reached this point even if we were half the population. Fossil fuels are easy to use so haven't been replaced nearly enough yet. What would give me hope is if coal power stations were all shut down for the most part and used as sort of backup power. Think about this, 8 billion people, majority drive carbon combustion vehicles to go to and from places that are powered by combusting carbon.. Were cutting down trees too fast, STILL haven't set up algae farms yet which is easy to do AND produce more oxygen than trees. As for reversing the damage? We would need to replace the majority of all engines (UK will ban sale of combustion engines in 2025), place all types of renewable energy devices across every country (most have room), we would DEFINITELY need breeding laws as awful as that sounds and anyone who retains their conventional car in say 2030 should be investigated (I know it sounds bad) to find whether they are just against change or can't afford it - can't afford it? Here's a grant for a conversion or to go toward a new car. Against it? Here's a lovely fine. I know I sound like a conservative in parts of this BUT these are just some of my more extreme ideas to implement if I had the power to do so. I don't have that power so really I don't expect anything to be done about the climate change situation because the big wigs simply don't care enough or don't believe what's coming is the reality. If they are ignorant to the truth then you can't really fault them but when a large portion of the world has woken up to the issue, I'd think these CEO's would at least have enough understanding to notice that if people start dying because of climate change (people already die from heat, I was rushed to hospital last year due to heat and had a few calls this year about my condition which was not great but didn't need medical attention) they could be one of those to die or maybe they wouldn't be able to turn over a profit because a whole community has died. I'm not saying this WILL happen but simply theorising.

In the UK we consume more per person than in the majority of other countries including China. How can we dictate to the rest of the world how to act when we live in luxury and cause the most harm. Added to this we also spent the past 150 years or so ravishing the rest of the world so that we could have such luxury.

Rather grotesque for an anti-oil advert. Unfortunately few care because hardly anybody has the knowledge of how bad the climate change problem really is, nevermind the greenwashing. I think this parody would be better if it was a documentary with something the average person could learn from. Thanks, regardless.
