I saw this guy on a random night at a NYC comedy club. Probably a crowd of 30? And only me and one other woman were laughing. And the more he went on and no one else laughed, the more we were in tears at how put off everyone else was. Gave us a friendly nod when he was done, and shook his hand after. Comedic genius

It wasn’t the ice itself. It was a metaphor to appreciate what you have, whether it’s old friends and cube tray wasn’t filled properly, or new relationships and despite being kicked in the face, or not having the temperature regulation how you prefer it, that your partner should want to be there for you with that ice when you’re having a hard time, much like any problem. The ice cube at the end was a reminder that we don’t appreciate what we have right in front of us. And I think everyone really got that message with that outro, which brought me to tears as well.
