You didn't marry a Muslim stop lying to yourself, did he pray five times a day? Did he fast a month every year? Did he drink alcohol or go partying? You married someone who calls himself muslim but isn't one, not a single practicing Muslim would dare to cheat on his wife because that is one of the biggest sins in Islam, WHAT really happened is you married some westernized Arab who barely has anything to do with Islam and now you are unloading all your anger because you had bad judgement in choosing a man

Joe I have been fighting ISIS in iraq I am a proud Kurd from Kurdistan, it would be great to have a good talk with you one day there is so much to be said, I have many stories. I'm an MMA fan and have been watching you for a long time but I can tell that there is so much you should know, majority of people in Kurdistan are Muslim however we have never had any religious issues with any of our Non muslim people we have been fighting to protect everyone here ( yezidi Kurds, christians and muslims) and we don't care what their religion is we stand for whats right, I'm not a religious person but in general people are open in my culture compare to other region in Middle east but I feel like there is so much you need to know, because people's perspective is very different than reality if you are not close and see it for yourself. I have been fighting against the evil ISIS along with all the Kurdish fighters to try protect our people your people and everyone else that lives in our region and all the refugees who have fled to Kurdish region in iraq. I have watched some of your podcasts I do think you generalize a bit but its not your fault because you have not been there and if I was in your place I might have been the same hearing so much crazy shit. I think any extreme religious mentality is bad for people regardless of their religion. middle east clearly has lots of work to do but despite that there are many good people here. i'm one of those people that is completely against any religious role in any government. religion should be a harmless private practice for anyone regardless of believes. some of the stuff i might say that might be a little difficult to implement in some countries because their government have used wrong religious tactics to keep them dumb and making them obey what they wanna do with them that combined with bad cultural practices in some arab nations in the middle eat. I don't know if you are ever are interested to come here but if you do let me know, you will be safe trust me and we can go shoot some guns haha but if I do visit the U.S one day would love to have a talk or even on the show, shoot all the questions you want would love to answer them.

Same thing with Islam, in times where people used to bury girls at birth just because they seemed as a liability Islam came and banned that, woman were sold as materialistic things and regarded as a trade value Islam came and banned that, and made woman more powerful. In times where Europeans used to take a dump in a bowl and then dump it from their windows Islam made people self clean themselves 5 times a day before prayer and showed people how to stay clean at all times. In Islam, we say that interaction between man and woman should only occur when in marriage. Naturally, men are weak and succumb to their desires much more so than women. As much as a man ensure he behaves upright, his thoughts are in constant battle between, a teaching of Islam to "lowering your gaze" and lustful ideas. And so we say women are not objects for lustful intentions. Islam elevates women in that regard as they are not the embodiment of sex symbols. We say women and men are different and fulfill different roles in society. Women are educators, entrepreneurs, warriors and so much more, but most importantly, Mothers - The foundation to every society. Something which liberal values are trying to eradicate, even by the feminist movement. It's funny enough though that the secular west still has issues with all of these. Your media certainly fails to show progression on this front. But yet, your western propogandists chose to show you a perspective of Islam that sees woman oppressed and backwards. So I urge you to see past you liberal and secular indoctrination, and open your mind up to other world views.

I mean, we see the natives being pushed further behind and struggling to cope in modern America, if it is that they do not fall subject to liberal ideologies while they trying to keep amend a damaged community and lost culture. And had it been a Muslim society, business would have had to halt during the 5 X 20 min prayer times (or rather 3 since the standard business hours includes Dhur, Asr and perhaps Magrib) depending on the operational hours. Beautiful isn't it that regardless of the intensity of the everyday hustle and bustle, it is obligatory to find solace and calm within your working hours, unlike modern secular society that ensure the carbon copy of workers grind and grind to the point of misery. I'm sure whether you believe in God or not, this would be appreciated. Then this brings me to Saudi Arabia and the Wahhabi factions. The fact the you can't visit that country is a problem they have to deal with and answer for. It's laws does not involve the entirety of Muslim thought, and certainly is not coded into Islamic tradition. This is why many Muslims reject the stance of Wahhabism. Had it been that you lived in an Islamic society, perhaps, let's say under an Islamic state, and not the secular Muslim countries we see today, then surely you would have been afforded residence, acceptance and tolerance as long as you are law abiding, as would any nation require from it's citizens. Just because you know a few Muslims does not mean you get the whole picture, especially when these Muslims fall prey to the encompassing liberal values of the west that is as we can see today so grossly imposed on global society. So again, I urge you to see pass these misconceptions about Islam that is being rammed down your throat by western media.

Just goes to show that "tolerance," much like "diversity" or "inclusivity" is not always an inherently good thing, even though that's the narrative the Left always peddles. People often forget that a culture or civilization is defined just as much by what they DON'T tolerate as they are by what they tolerate.
@johannpopper1493
3 жыл бұрын
Stupid people don't necessarily reflect the system they think they are describing. The U.S. has explicit values that must be accepted by all residents. The U.S. only strives for reasonable tolerance -- i.e. clearing away arbitrary differences like ethnicity in order to show people real values like material progress and civil cooperation to achieve real advancements to the quality of human life, like technological inventions, medicine, etc, as opposed to superstitious nonsense.
@SonoftheAllfather

@@johannpopper1493 The U.S. has explicit values that *theoretically* should be accepted by all residents, but are not. They are not even universally accepted/shared among native born Americans. Among foreign people, they are usually only reluctantly accepted (if at all), and are constantly being tested and framed as a form of oppression. Inundate the country year after year with millions of people with totally different values, and the system collapses. That's the whole problem with importing culturally incompatible population groups. Cultural relativism is moral relativism. Open borders equals open values. Culture and values are linked, and culture is strongly correlated to ethnicity. Hence, ethnicity is NOT arbitrary at all when it comes to migration. It is only in the West that we pretend it doesn't matter for fear of social repercussions. Also, the idea of "reasonable" tolerance is subjective. My version is likely far different than yours.

@@bayron45 Singapore is extremely authoritarian and to quell ethnic conflict, they mandated that English be spoken as a universal language. I have been to Singapore when I was in the military, and it's the only place I've ever been that has signs at the airports saying the penalty for drug smuggling is death. And I've been to some horrible countries. We shouldn't have to live in an authoritarian dictatorship just so we can be multicultural/multiethnic. They are arguably not even multicultural, only multiethnic. Multiethnic states can exist, but only if there is a dominant uncompromising monoculture that incoming groups willfully and even joyfully embrace. Multiculturalism doesn't work, and America's dominant ethnocultural majority is under outright hostile attack. Most new immigrants do not want or need to adapt, and more and more people and cultural institutions either do not expect them to adapt or outright discourage them from adapting. The obstacle of having a multiethnic state is that every ethnicity has their own culture that they instinctually desire to preserve. If aspects of that culture are incompatible with the host culture and adaptation is discouraged, it will cause serious problems. In earlier waves of immigration, the expectations were totally uncompromising and there was way more social and economic incentive for migrants to adapt. There was no welfare state. The schools and cultural institutions did not adapt to the migrants, the migrants adapted to them. And those migrants were far more similar (racially, culturally, religiously, etc.) than the newer groups that are immigrating now. Some groups are just way too different, and are even hostile towards the West as a whole. How can we expect those people to be positive additions to our countries given all these circumstances? So our countries are not just failing at integrating migrants, globalists (who hold basically all the power) are deliberately undermining the possibility of immigration even being a potentially positive thing. They are weaponizing it and making it totally destructive for the nation state, and that is the whole point. They don't want nation states to exist. So really, the problem is more complicated, and is due to a series of globalist lies. Globalist/leftist lies will be the undoing of this experiment. Their cultural relativism, their attacks on integration standards, their attacks on traditional culture...all of it is designed to destroy the United States as we know it.

This conversation explains so well what I learned dating a Muslim man and have such a hard time explaining to people. He openly lied to me in the beginning about his beliefs, and it took over a year and a half for him to admit that he hated Jews as a child and was happy to learn about the holocaust, that he did not believe in having dogs inside the house, that he believed in every single letter of the Quran, that he believed gay people should be put to death, that I should be appreciative that he "respected" my religion by "allowing" me to continue to practice it, that he was allowed to question my religion but I could not question his, that criticism of Islam shouldn't be allowed, and that he had the right to tell me what to wear, where to go, and who to see. He told me he kept these things from me in the beginning so I could get "used to it." I could write a whole book about my experiences with this religion and seeing up-close a religion I used to defend, but the thing is that he is a relatively liberal Muslim, and this is how he felt, and he knew that to reveal all of that to me in the beginning would have meant we would not have had a relationship, so he lied. I could say he's just a bad Muslim, but is he? In Islam, the rules about treating others kindly and morally specifically only apply to other Muslims. I can't even begin to explain the hurt I felt realizing I was Najis to him and the people I had gotten to know and care about. But I'm racist for now being afraid of Islam once I've learned so much more about it? I can't even. And my story is so mild compared to others'. God help us.

I can say that it doesn't necessarily make me believe that you are an unethical person as a practicing Muslim, as I do believe there exist Muslims who are very wonderful people, but my point is that how am I supposed to know a person's true feelings if they believe their religion permits them to lie to me?

You can choose one of two options: 1) Be compassionate to strangers from the 3rd world and let them in becoming the 3rd world down the line 2) Be compassionate to your countrymen / your future children and stop the flow of 3rd world immigration securing their future The very society people in the West enjoy will no longer exist if we keep importing Muslims and those from other different cultures. Especially the 3rd world. Europeans have more similar (often secular and Christian) values that allows them to integrate into society. So drawing a comparison to the founding of the US with 3rd world immigration is intellectually dishonest. Unity is strength. Not diversity.

Like yeah, these countries had horrible dictators, but at least they were within their own countries doing it to their own people. It's way worse off now than it was then and the cause are foreign countries. And now the foreign countries are making Muslims and Islam out to be the enemy. It's a little baffling. These Islamic terrorist organizations you see today were all originally funded by foreign governments and then left alone to grow and become what it is. You're so ignorant that you don't see that the government has CREATED this discourse. People like you that fear Islam are a product of what they want. They want to invade these Islamic countries, take their resources and at the same time keep getting their citizens (you) to hate Islam and hate their countries. You are a byproduct of all this. If i immigrate to Spain I want to be considered a Spaniard. I want to earn my passport and carry it with pride. Although I would never fully apprehend the Spanish language, i will do at least my very best. I would make sure I have basic knowledge of their history, their costums and their politics. If i immigrate to Spain I want to make sure my ideas of politics, values and religion are not complete opposite. Otherwhise i should learn to addapt or find a better suited country for my willings. If i immigrate to Spain I would want to partake in their festivities, social garderings, traditions and be present amongst their people. So I could gain their respect and not be an outsider. If i immigrate to Spain I have chosen Spain as my new first country and in times of war I will fight on their side. If i immigrate to Spain I'm no longer a member of society in the Netherlands. Therefore i don't feel like i have the right to use my dutch vote and be responsible for changes that doesn't effect me but will effect all others in the Netherlands If i immigrate to Spain And excel in sports on a proffesional level, i would want to show my grattitude and play for the flag of Spain during the Olympics. If i immigrate to Spain I for sure wouldn't use the democracy in this country to support the dictatorship in another country. If i immigrate to Spain I know things will be hard in the beginning. Immigration is hard. But i will not hold the Spannish people responsible. I will work hard and make sure i don't represent the majority of the countries criminality. If i immigrate to Spain and i represent the majority of the countries criminality and the majority of the lower income households, i will not call out for racism if i get more then regular pulled over in my expensive car. I understand the police should work according to evidences, statistics, studies and sciences. I will be co-operative and show that i'm a good citizen. I will make sure i won't help the reputation of foreigners in Spain further down the drain. If i immigrate to Spain I will not be offended if they call me the Dutchmen. I'm proud of my heritage and i understand men distinguishes people according to their characteristics. I understand they don't mean to offend me and i won't call out for racism. If i immigrate to Spain As a dutchmen, I wouldn't want my people to be the majority in a Spanish city. I migrated to Spain and not to the Netherlands. I should always be the minority. If i immigrate to Spain I should be allowed to use my mother tongue in private and public territory. But i understand that i should speak Spanish to the best of my capability during work hours. Even if my collegues are dutch as well. If i immigrate to Spain I should be allowed to keep my own dutch traditions. But I won't force it on the Spanish people by driving through the streets of Barcelona, honking and screaming while waving my dutch flag hanging outside of the car. If i fled to Spain because of war or any other inhumane circumstances in my own country, i should pay uttermost respect to Spain and i will be thankfull for any little help coming my way. For any situation is better then i had before. If i'm allowed to stay, i will owe Spain my life and i will act accordingly. I will follow all the above listed terms and be a good citizen. If i immigrate to Spain I will keep Spain, Spain I will keep Europe, Europe. I will keep the richness of all Europe's cultures intact. We don't want to lose what makes us great.

I am an ex-Muslim. I was having an argument with my sister who asserted that Christians denounce those among them who marry Muslims and punish them, and I said no that is not true and asked for evidence. I said there are hundreds of Christian sects and denominations who have differences in doctrine and understanding of the scripture, and that the belief system and practices of these sects differ significantly. So, while there might be a small sect of Christians who do denounce their members for marrying Muslims, there are no overarching authoritative narrative that compelles all Christians to do so.She said there is no need for evidence, and My father jumped in the discussion and said that Christian is faith rejected by God and that they believe in three gods. I said that is simply not true and as I tried to explain why this is false my father told me that I should shut up because I am countering Quranic claims. I was so frustrated because It is really gut wrenching and outright insulting when you deprive someone the right to express his views, and then go on to claim that you have sole knowledge of the ultimate truth. Unfortunately the majority of Muslims are like this. They start their argument by claiming something that has no bases in reality and when you try to counter their assertion they will simply put fingers in their ears and shut you down. Worse, and often in many cases if they detect that you are even mildly non-Islamic they start to vilify you and socially ostracize you. Basically, there is no value and rescue for evidences which is the mark of a rational and constructive argument. And when you demand evidence for their assertions they bring Quran as a testament, yet I say to them that members of other faiths do not acknowledge the credibility and authenticity of the Quran as the word of God and that using the Quran to validate their claims about Quranic verses is circular reasoning.

People often forget that a culture or civilization is defined just as much by what they DON'T tolerate as they are by what they tolerate.

you can't be too tolerant or you stand for nothing. I often see my Christian co-workers/friends go clubbing and have sex and on Saturday night go to church on Sunday morning then go have out of marriage sex again that evening it's like some Christians are so tolerant to everything like I assumed if the book you believe in says not to do something you would comply if you believe in it. same way you got gay pastors and stuff I'm not homophobic or anything but it's not something I would do or agree with on a personal level but people can do what they want. that's beside the point the bible refutes that but I still see gay pastors. it's like they change the religion to conform to society whereas Muslims unapologetically conform society to the religion. I don't see people with stronger faith than Muslims take it how you will. tolerance is not always a good thing now we got transmen in women's sports due to our "tolerance" and now that tolerance is killing women's sports.

I worked with a lot of east africans and middle-eastern individuals who were Muslim - they were very adamant in their faith and would seek out discussion with people to compare, contrast, and in many cases in the work place even - to inflame a situation or discussion especially when they were met with equanimity, facts, and accurate-as-can-be-managed historical observation. I learned a little somali and learned the arabic alphabet so I could understand what they were saying, and bridge gaps - BUT - no matter what, I was adaank-ka, the "White guy" but it was humanizing in its own way for me to call them "medo-ga" "Black guy" in their own language. They invited me to eat with them during Ramadan when they broke their fasts, I got to know their relatives - they were mostly decent folks, but when you brought up the religion it was MUCH more fervent and powerfully charged than you would ever expect. It is not racist to observe and comment - because if it that is the case then what they are saying is that their cultural identity and religion is more important than their personhood/humanity.

from whom you are listening about Islam in this entire 33.5 minutes show ? From islamophobe Zionist who saw the cultural hatred of his motherland and associating this with Islam , really ? Who said you cannot criticized or raise question about Muslim believe. You all non Muslim should search your doubts about Islam in KZitem. I argue with each and every sentence of this hypocrite. History is the proof that. Only under the Muslim empire Jewish have flourished and were given shelter from others.

If I label you something, it immediately puts you into a box and means that I don't have to listen to you or consider your opinion because you are part of enemy group an "other." Labeling diminishes the effectiveness of the conversation. I have heard about Islam from young men training to be Imams. I have heard about Islam from immigrants trying to adjust. I have heard about Islam from friends, from family and from people from all walks of life. I stand by my observation.

Massive influence on the world? You mean in the scientific, medical, technological, and military world? Probably. Definitely not religiously. I think you fail to realize that Judaism is an ethnoreligion so it’s not just a religion but an ethnicity. Also I think you don’t really know much about the history of Jews in this region particularly Mizrahi Jews. Mizrahi Jews were kicked out of Arab states and places in what is the modern state of Israel by Jordan during this time also. There were actually more Jewish refugees than Palestinians. Also Jews were willing to share the land since the beginning. The 1948 war was started by the surrounding Arabs and Palestinians not Jews. Land was also offered in numerous peace deals that the Palestinians rejected. Also practices that are considered discriminatory were put in place after wars and the second intifada for safety measures. I don’t think you would like it if your clubs, buses, restaurants, and schools were getting blown up by suicide bombers. I don’t think you would like if you were driving on the road and then you were shot at or thrown bricks at. I don’t think you would like it if there were multiple stabbing attempts a week because the government of the region next to you has a pay for slay policy where anybody who kills one of your people gets a pension. I don’t think you would like it if people in your country were getting kidnapped and killed. I don’t think you would like if thousands of rockets were launched at cities in your home country and the international world expects you to do nothing because you have more power. I also don’t think you would feel safe if you lived next door to a jihadist terrorist group that has in their charter that they want to hunt and kill all of your people in the world. I also don’t think you would like it if people tried to revise history to erase your connection to a particular land when genetics, history, archeology, linguistics, and culture proves that you are indigenous not solely religion. Btw the creators of the modern movement of Zionism were secular and so are many Israelis. We actually come from this land that’s why it’s important not solely based on religion so your input is inaccurate.

Hey Joe. Having a conversation about Islam or “Radical Islam” with a Jewish person who escaped political strife in a Muslim country isn’t the most fruitful and accurate conversation. Sure his perspective is welcome. But if you want to really make a difference get to the core issues with ‘truth’ it’s imperative you converse with someone who represents the community in discussion. Not all, but most of this man’s views are brewed and formulated by personal experience, in relationship with his environment and religion. Thank you.
