I met Piper once years ago as a teen, probably 1999 or so. He was opening a new car dealership in Portland, and there were probably 50 people there to get his autograph, myself included. Got my picture taken with him and his autograph....the picture is long gone unfortunately, but I still have the autograph. Guy was a one-of-a-kind. He told my father and I a story about how Ric Flair on flights would go into the lavatory, strip completely naked, put on his robes, and come out and serve drinks on the plane. XD Dammit, I wish I still had that picture! I could totally see him carrying a pistol around with him, lmao. RIP Hot Rod.

In the locker room, after Macho witnesses the snake bite Roberts, and departs satisfied... Roberts reaches into his locker and produces an identical carry bag, with another snake inside. He's much more cautious with this one, opening the bag just a little to gaze inside and then look towards the door Macho exited through. A sinister grin creeps across Jake's face as he intones the familiar line: "Never trust a snake."

How amazing it is to see jake so happy. I know his health isn’t great tge now but he says he’s blessed and will Keep on, this from a guy who for over 15 plus years wanted to die every day , I’m not sure much can ever come close to the absolute joy I see from him every time he’s on anything now , I hope he can fight his health problems and have a good few years left , his kids , his first wife who he’s back with now which is so great and his grand kids need him and let’s be honest I need him, you put anyone infront of jake and let him tell a story and just watch the person listening , they are transported right into the feeling of the story, he has a very very unique way .
