During the late 80’s through the mid 90’s I, trained at a place that housed three world champs. (lil Joe , James W. & Sugar D). James W. was probably the greatest Athlete I've ever seen besides being a WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING & Role model. With that being said and after reading the comments regarding this “CCC” (Clever Clickbait Clip) I’m compelled to share my take on today’s “Fight game”. Many of today’s Successful fighters and world champs, Would’ve been Journeymen in the 80’s. During the Era of Duran, Mancini, Argueyo, Hagler, Hearns, Ray Leonard, Cuevas ,Nelson, Camacho, Bramble, Salvador Sanchez (IMO the best) Canizales , and many more. Besides going 15 rounds those fighters rarely avoided each unlike today’s “Greats” who pad their record against tin cans. I must also mention that both Tyson and Holyfield avoided LENNOX @ all costs. With the main coward of them all, being RIDDIKoulus Bowe. After the 88 Games in Seoul the whole Heavyweight Division could've and should've been ruled By LENNOX LEWIS!! If I could Invision Loma with all his fancy footwork fighting during the 80's, it would've been like watching Vanilla ice Vs. Fred Astaire. Please excuse my spelling and forgive me for the names I missed.

I respect Joey but the way sports and special schools like EIDE (escuelas de iniciación deportiva) and ESPA (escuela superior de perfeccionamiento atlético) work in Cuba is different. Nobody is forced to practice sports or a specific one, neither childrens are sent overseas.... If you are not biased by politics and do a proper research, or travel there to Cuba and visit these schools and talk to the people on the streets you will understand. Yoel Romero did his best to explain it, but ofcourse many details were missing and Joey's translation was not good enough.
