Pat is right. I used to have to cut close to 10 to 15 pounds for my weigh ins for the Marine Corps. They wanted me to be 219 at 6’3” when my natural weight is about 240. And when I would sauna and dehydrate, even one half glass of water sipped slowly would cause me to gain close to a pound. It is just the way your body reacts in a state of emergency like that. For the record I had a 20” neck with a 36” waist and had a 270 PFT. For anyone who just thinks this is lamenting of another fatbody
@terminationshock1356
6 жыл бұрын
That's not how physics work. Unless you drank a pound of water you cannot gain a pound from one glass. Where should the rest of the weight come from? Obviously for the Marine Corps being physically fit is more important than basic education.

You have to be brought to the hospital to get attention because you’re body is shutting down from making weight. And people think this is a fair way to class fighters. No way, absolutely no way. Weigh-ins should be done an hour before the fight, if you’re natural weight is over your weight class and you have to cut to make it, you’re going to be severely handicapped by your health.
