Just picking this up after a search, totally majestic..nobody does this like Joe fretboard dominance with ease and no 'kin gimicks like all those You Tube wanna bees! with hairbands round the nut etc..To Me Joe was always the most accessible and listenable of all the instrumental guitarists around his time and even after finally seeing him live in 2023 he is still the Ali of Guitar! Nobody beats him as a lead guitarist and i mean no one!

My friend! Thank you so much for uploading these videos. I have the webcast saved, but could never find versions on youtube to share with friends. Thank you so much for the uploads! Would you possibly be able to add more? Such as Summer Song, Searching, War, Surfing, and Is there love in Space? As for the performance. It is one of his best live shows I feel. He rocked on so many of these songs and I think the band really backed him. I especially love Matt Bissonette on bass for this show!

Nobody beats Joe Satriani for speed at the low end of the fretboard! No Tapping here or sweep picking..just figure busting runs...as they say no one rolls the mercury ball at this level that Joe!..also no 'kin hair bands or shit across the nut which a lot of you tube c**** know who you are.

@genbarnaky people are too used to Studio engineered music.. cant handle the on the spot in-prov and refined sound... i like the studio version of this song better just because the Rhythm guitar is actually audible... plus it seems like most live versions are slightly faster than normal... he still rocks the shit outa anything he plays tho

well its a really awesome song, and it may sound out of tune because he uses two different tonalitys in the solo (two bars one tonality, next two bars other tonality). thats why it sound odd. also he uses some non regular scales at the beginning so it sounds more exotic.
