If you remember the play LT didn't do anything dirty hell that hit would still be legal today. It was just a routine sack but Thiesman's tibia and fibula just snapped into an S shape and broke the skin.

I remember this game, and this was the first time I ever saw one of those gruesome type of injuries. Ive seen many after this. Every kid at school talked about it. They replayed it over and over. And just watching LT try to alert the sideline about an opposing player will never be forgotten.

He wasn't dyslexic he was illiterate because the OK public school system didn't care about Dexter the human being they cared about him playing football so they passed him along from grade to grade.

I still call Washington the Redskins it will never change for me, I was blessed to watch LT harassed a lot of QBs in his time, I was very fortunate to have watched both these men play football A lot of the glory days are gone, football isn’t enjoyable anymore it’s all about the Benjamin’s $$$$💵 😕

Oh as a REDSKINS I remember those days like yesterday. I remember I was in college when LT made the sack that broke Joe’s leg and I was watching from my college apartment. I wish the new owner would reinstate the old name and I look forward to a new stadium ( hopefully where RFK use to stand ) and we return to the decades of dominance. HTTR !
