How dare you suggest learning theory! Don’t you know you’ll lose all feel for the instrument and be terrible at music forever? Sorry, just wanted to know what it felt like to be one of those fools who says stuff like that. For real though, folks, get a theory book. It’ll help your playing immeasurably.
@bigchiefsmackaho387
3 жыл бұрын
Its like seeing someone play masterfully clean and technical and people bitching that it “has no feeling”. Like, how do you quantify that? What even IS feeling? I guarantee the guy perfectly shredding through Vilvaldi or Bach is definitely “feeling it”. 100% of people that say stuff like this cannot themselves play that well. Fact.
@nckhed
3 жыл бұрын
@@bigchiefsmackaho387 I get exactly what you're saying about the "no feeling" part, but to say that "100%" of the people who negatively criticize guitarists for having "no feeling" cannot play well themselves isn't a fact, but just another opinion that is no different than the "no feeling" opinions. We all interpret and enjoy music so differently. I know if people heard my musical preferences and dislikes, they'd probably think my music taste absolutely sucks, but I could easily turn around, listen to their preferred music, and probably find many things to gripe about, too. 😂
