Loving your vlog but must correct one thing. The flood at Boscastle wasn't caused by a wave coming in from the sea. There was a very heavy thunderstorm which dropped so much rain in such a short time on the high land inshore of the village that the two rivers that flow through the village couldn't cope and swept a lot of things, trees, cars & buildings, but thankfully no people, down into the harbour. 7 or 8 helicopters were called in to lift people from roof tops and stranded cars. There's probably some video of it on YT somewhere.

Aww, thanks for correcting this! When I heard about it, my mind somehow assumed that it must have been a tsunami-type scenario. Should have been double-checking, but it never crossed my mind that it might have been caused by something else 😬🙈

I agree with your thoughts. The problem with the SWCP book is that it prepares you for the previous section but abdicates to highlight the two (or was it 3) massive climbs on this stretch along with the smaller climbs. It certainly did my legs in 😂😂😂

Nice one Elli and Otto, your filming got really good over the months. Beautiful area again with all the colours. Those winds are bad in a tent so know the feeling. Think to be honest your fitness got you though this part this time, but can fully understand getting tired would happen to us all. Loved all the info again from this section. Take care both 🌷

Aww, thank you so much :) It really is a beautiful section - very tough, but so worth it, especially with the beautiful colors of gorse and heather :) Thank you for your support 😍

Thank you Elli for another cracking video. Eloquent & informative as ever. A really tough section along some extremely spectacular coastline. Rubbish weather for you & Otto, and some serious climbs. Pleased you made it with a stunning end to the last day ☀️

A lovely looking bit of coastline and a glorious sunset! 🌅 King Arthur is one of the few legends that we have in England, you seem to have a lot more in mainland Europe ? Otto and the stairs again 😍 perhaps get him a lil camera to wear ...to feed back video to you, to show you how easy it is...

Yes, there are quite a few in Germany! I actually thought of strapping the gopro to his harness when we hike to have Otto's view for a little bit. That would be so funny, but probably VERY shaky :) hahahaha...

Hi Elli and Otto . Another great video with even more beautiful views, and once again some of them hills looked bloody steep. It would have been so funny if a rabbit or anything had stuck its head out of that hole just as Otto was looking in. By the way Elli can you stay out of England for a while because you're beginning to cause a coffee shortage over here 😂😂 lol Take care ✌️😋

Hahahaha, this comment made me laugh :) You've got the whole winter to restock on coffee 😂😉 omg, yes! The hills/cliffs on that section are soooo steep, sometimes so much so that my hands could almost touch the path in front of me when I was hiking up! Thank you so much for following along :)

They weren't cows you encoutered Elli, they were bulls. Although these days you never know, they could have self id'd as cows! ta da!
