Greetings: We have given heaven the spirit of a real stand up Black Man. A man's man. No question he was strong to the bone. With Brother John Amos on television black men had a true example of what it was to be black and proud. May the supreme power that we all must answer to be as pleased with you as many of us have been. God Bless You. Peace

lived a long life like my dad who passed decades ago. As good as he was on sitcoms always felt he was much more than good times. Seeing him on the big screen in die hard 2 was special he was playing a leadership role in an action film. seeing the contrast of that and good times was special for me. then the coming to america was nice. he always spoke so eloquently.

I really hoped the world enjoyed this man as well as I did watching him on TV. I'm like most African American males did not always have my dad around due to drugs and womanizing. However, when I watched not only John Amos but every African American dad portrayed on TV, it made me feel like I had one anyway. Also, it groomed me to be a decent man despite not having a real-life full-time dad available to me. Instead, I just got a shell of a dad acting like I owe him something, and just cause he busted a nut, I should be proud he did that. Well, rest up, King. I hope you got all the flowers you deserved while you were here, and thank you for being for coming into my life even if it was through the TV screen every night.

Gloston let me tell you what I heard and yes I heard that to.I just found that out today.Gloston did you hear that his son is the sole executive of his estate. And that when his father died he had his father cremated right away. They said that he immediately took all of the money out of his father's bank accounts and closed them immediately.Gloston they said that the rest of the family did not find out that John Amos had died until it was announced yesterday to the public.Gloston I hope that the rest of the family has an investigation done. They said that no sooner after John Amos died his son insisted that he be cremated as soon as possible. All of this is multiple red flags. That is beyond heartbreaking and low down and dirty. You definitely reap what you sow.Every knee must bow and every tongue must confess. For all we know his son could have killed/murdered John Amos. When someone rushes to have someone cremated chances are a crime was indeed committed. That is extremely sketchy and suspect. And autopsies can be done on cremated remains.
