I'm a straight man, been married for almost 15 years to a wonderful woman, and I can honestly say that I would have lined up behind the marine. Love this man, just love everything about him.

He wasn't rude if you really know JB you would know that that's just his personality, and he was kidding it's not like you're suppost to take it seriously. So it's all good.

I just binge-watched every episode of Torchwood and I thought it was an excellent show- even if it was an English show and by the way, I am English and though England hits it out of the park when it comes to period costume dramas, it rarely comes up with good sci-fi (space 1999 excepted). John Barrownan played a great Captain Jack.

Don't you get an impression that JB is a little bit... rude? Lots of sarcastic comments, irony, making fun of people asking questions, well... I don't know what to think, because generally he's fun to listen to and watch. Ah. Maybe he's just tired, but some of this was unsettling.

Agree, and now that there's more and more information coming out about him, it seems he's a disrespectful person overall.

There was a time in English history when girls of her age often married Noblemen. Cementing family liasons were far more important than silly notions of age-appropriate behavior. But yes, by our standards it was a bit uncomfortable.

Have some dignity and respect when younger people are watching.
