If there's a song out there that has more emotion and truth about a relationship and the things we do to hang on to it.....well, there isn't. This is a master piece.

Mr. John Berry, sir, I love your voice and music so much! I saw a performance you gave at a small place in Muscle Shoals, Alabama in the early 90's, and you sang Angie to me as you signed my t-shirt. Boy, talk about being star struck and gobsmacked!

True talent. Beautiful voice. Most singers today not only wouldn't but couldn't do this without their tech setup - autotune. Bless you John and that pure voice and talent.

I loved the country music of the 80's and 90's, and John is one of the reasons why. His comeback after brain surgery to sing this song at the CMA's was very inspiring. I honestly only remember a few moments from the CMA awards over the year, Reba's red dress and poor Vince trying to concentrate on hosting, and John Berry absolutely knocking it out of the park singing this song with just his acoustical guitar! I have been to a number of concerts and most singers aren't as good live, but this was better than any studio recording. Every note sung and played were completely audible, and perfect. Thanks for sharing this with us.

John I live in Swansea UK. John Berry is amazing got a few of his albums including a 7 track accustic album of some of his hits. I have this somewhere on VHS or dvd. He still sounds amazing today. He's survived brain surgery, cancer and problems on his vocal cords. He did the opry last week. The performance is on here.

So glad to find this! I literally remember it that very night on the awards show. I’ve been trying to find this video for so long!!! Literally my favorite performance ever on the show. I added it to my favorites list on KZitem and probably have watched it 50 times. I have the CD from back in the day, but something about this performance was so bare and vulnerable ❤️❤️❤️

No auto tune no ear buds just a guitar and a microphone. Yet all these folks today warring these ear buds to hear the beat or honor that and to me it sounds way different than yesteryear. I’ll take old school guitar and microphones and no let’s play with the music sound too make it sound better crap. Music singers from 90’s and back didn’t need all the extra crap they use today to try and make it better. Let’s just have talented people singing not taking a karaoke singer adjusting his vocals electronically and putting him/her on stage.
