This was produced and directed by Charlie Fremont, whom we lost on Jan. 2, 2024. I co-produced and edited it at VisionTracks; it was one of the first projects at their newly-opened production complex in southwest St. Louis County. As noted above, the music came from KPM, Killer Tracks and APM libraries, including the opening sequence, J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto Number 3 BWV 1048, third movement. Several local cinematographers were involved over the course of a year, including Rich Kolb and Jerry Wiggins, who passed away in 2023. Stan Piekarski did post-production sound. Crewing and production support was by VisionTracks, supervised by Mike Eyermann. Technical and engineering support was supervised by Hugh Graham. Jeff Feltmann AD'd and Dave Lewis, who left only a few years later, was gaffer and crew chief. The project was underwritten by Maritz, Inc. The film premiered at the 75th anniversary celebration at JBS on Oct. 9, 1998. The film received an international Telly Award in 1999.
