I’ve saw some 6030s with the sound guard cab and love the way it looks but the front wheel assist takes it to the next level. Absolutely beautiful tractor.

6030 was the 1st sound gard I did. This is #2 and working on a 7520 right now.

Love how well you've integrated everything but I gotta say, it looks more like a 30-60 series than a 20. The 7520 is my favorite jd, but I like the way the square cab looks. Now a 7520 with good sound insulation and some creature comforts inside the square cab to make the day feel less like a chore, that would be sweet. But wow you are amazing 👏 the time and dedication to get all that to look/function/fit right must be insane

Wow this is one best build s I've ever seen I can only imagine using it out in a large field pulling a large disc with no dust just the right amount of moisture to keep it shining it's to pretty to get dirty

How does the hydraulic front wheel assist do with helping pull? Love the custom combo and amazing restoration work. It looks brand new; too nice to get it dirty.

fiasco J-D.hydraulics are less efficient than mechanics (more liquid friction than geared bearings) the hydraulics transmit like a rubber band. As a result, it had 2 pressure speeds depending on traction, and no differential lock.the only advantage was its small turning radius for manoeuvring. Gallois farmer of France

What did u do with the hydraulic priority valve and the steering? I’m not to familiar with 4620 but all other 20 series I have seen have the priority valve under the dash.

I moved the priority valve to the side of the trans. Steering was a bit tricky but works great.

Beautiful tractor, u did excellent with ur old school look,new cab,suitcase weights,heavy front end take the hop out of hard field pulls,I grew up around tractors,we never had cabs froze in cold weather and every spring I looked like a lobster till tanned, excellent taste dude love the old school hoods

Took the side panels off my 4020, used 2040 decals, cut and reversed the 20 and the 40 plus an additional ribbon. Looked real cool but confused lots of guys. Wasn't the platform and cab too high?

Have not dyno'd it. Probably is around 180-200 hp Haven't hooked it to an implement yet but might in the future.

I would have added hydraulic jacks to the 3 point pick up. To me a tractor must pick up. The present system may work, but not well enough for my liking.

No I used the original manifolds off the 404 to make sure the turbo and exhaust lined up with the hood.

i would do MFWD the hydrolic FWD is always issues issues etc thats the only thing i would swap and make it a 40 or 50kmh gearbox

Air filter is under the hood toward the back. There's an access lid right in front of the cab

I am in NO WAY a fan of old mother Deere. But my god man 😍. I saw pics somewhere of a JD prototype 20 series with a super early prototype sound guard cab. It wasn’t out of the realm of possibility. But being 200 hp 😂😂😂. Rawr!!
