In my opinion those aren't tractors. They are heavy, earth-moving equipment. Good to see them turning the soil over and mixing things up for the seed bed. Thanks again for a great video. 🚜

this in your opinion is the best tractor that exists?
@bigtractorpower
3 жыл бұрын
No. It’s a good tractor but not the very best. The Fendt 1000 and John Deere 8RX have the best overall ride and performance from what I see in the field.

I’m a producer from central Kansas. I want to know how the Kinsey diamond Harrow works on rough ground and terraces compared to a high speed disc. Which works better?
@bigtractorpower

The Kelly is good for incorporating residue and mixing in fertilizer. It will not remove ruts or washouts. The Pro Till is much better at working up the ground. The Pro-Till can run up to 6 inches deep and the Kelly will run 1.5 inches deep. Both are really good. It depends on what type of tillage is needed.

@bigtractorpower

Good question. I will ask that on the next ride along.
@ChaseLandMgmt

Tracks are twice the cost over comparable wheeled machines. Just for perspective, a single track for a 9570 RT is 16k so 32k for a set plus the additional maintenance of idlers. Tracks are a huge benefit, if you need them though.
@arthurmiller9434

@@ChaseLandMgmt: Thank you for the info Brett. Not surprised by the track cost, but still a lot!!! What are the top 2 benefits you referenced? Traction? Pulling power?
@ChaseLandMgmt
3 жыл бұрын
@@arthurmiller9434 you bet! The main selling point for tracks is less compaction on the ground. Compaction will rob yields if it is not managed with proper tillage practices. They also float exponentially better than tires making them nice for adverse field conditions farmers often find themselves in during planting or harvest. The tractive effort (pulling power) is also a benefit like you stated.

That sound effect is created by two similar engines running in close proximity. Nothing wrong with the engines. If you had ever been on a farm you would know that.
