Jack was a baby there; just 2 months away from turning 20! And John, well what can you say that hasn’t already been said. His performances have always been utterly exhilarating, captivating and memorable. I was at that particular concert night, as a 17yo (now nearly 50!), and can still remember how I felt experiencing it. Just brilliant! Great reaction as always Nic! Much love from Australia! 🇦🇺💚

I know there are other people doing reactions on John but I think you have shown John more love than anyone. There is so many great songs and performances by John that it would take a very long time to get through them but I’m enjoying the ride. Keep up the great work and please keep John’s music alive.

Lip syncers get booed off stage in Australia. We have a fabulous live scene and live singers because of the pub scene in our country. Singers in the 70s and 80s simply HAD to sing live. You couldn't have a singing career in any way, shape or form unless you could sing live, and do it very well. That's why singers like Madonna and Bionce actually get booed off stage if they lip sync in Australia (and they HAVE been booed off stage in Australia for doing that). We don't stand for shitty lip syncers. If you can't sing, (and if you can't sing live, you CANNOT sing), don't bother coming to Australia! John grew up in that industry. All our singers from that era did. They could ALL sing!! Although, sadly, lesser 'vocalists' these days can make in Australia without being able to sing due to recording and voice altering machines (and the shocking vocal enhancements that people generally don't realise those machines do for non-singers and for lesser 'vocalists'), that culture, sadly, is breaking down. But it still exists to a large extent. Get caught lip syncing in Australia in concert, and we WILL boo you off stage, no matter how famous and no matter how big you think your rep is!!

@@vk88864 The 'Pub Test' should be mandatory for any singer wanting to make a career in my opinion. Fail that and they should not have a singing career because they can't sing. And there's more to performing than simply showing how cute and sexy you can look on a video screen, which actually has a lot more to do with the talented video artist and editor than it has to do with the 'performer'. The Pub Test teaches that too. Then these so-called 'vocalists' wouldn't have to cover themselves in feathers and costumes and ridiculousness and add masses of extra stage performers behind them to make their concerts remotely worth seeing. Those things a just a cover-up for an untalented artist. John didn't need them, and neither should any other artist if they have any talent to give.

@@fransmith3255 all great singers can sing live. My brothers band did the pub circuit. Though not famous they can sing quite well. I grew up watching my brothers practice singing covers from the 70s and 80s era. And grew up listening to John Farnham. And I have always said that a good singer can sing live no matter what. Farnsey will always be one of my favourites.
@fransmith3255

@@vk88864 Exactly right. If they can't sing live, they can't sing. I was a singer (retired now) and I my singer friends could sing well without a mic, and accupella too - no backings. No singer out there being paid to sing should require technology to keep them in key or make them sound good. And most pop songs are pretty easy to sing compared to other genres. If they can't even do that very basic skill on their own, they cannot sing.

I watched a new reactor to John a couple of days ago? He asked if John can copy anyone he sings with. Doesn’t he have his own style? That reactor had heard one song and that reactor is gone. My granddaughter is still at University and she has a cure for cancer that doesn’t harm. America and Canada have been waiting 3 years for her because our Country will not fund her research but she will not go to America. They have buried too many of our cures so far. Scientists can wait their whole lives to be published in the Science Journals. She was published on this Thesis last year and Germany have offered for her. Stage 4 cancer is not always a death sentence now. They can control it for years depending on what kind of cancer. You just need regular infusions and to be in a private health fund. I don’t understand a Country that can decide who lives or dies. Stay positive.
