I heard his group (Creedence) while I was walking in Buenos Aires : I was 16 years old. The record store had speakers outside and I heard "Born in the Bayou", it just blew my mind, I just went inside of the record store and bought the LP!! Thank you Mr Fogerty, after I heard his music, I woke up ( That was music!).

Born On The Bayou still blow my mind after almost 45 years of listening. I also "happened" to hear a part of one of their songs from my aunts combined radio/taperecorder (C-cassette). Though I had heard some truly fine Beatles and Rolling Stones songs, this was the first one to blow me away. Once I found out who it was I baught the record and the note book. :)

Regards from Guayaquil-Ecuador.
