John Hartson speaking absolute truth for nearly 2 minutes. He overcame cancer as well with what would've been extremely long odds 👏

After watching Gazza cry like a baby after getting booked for England and would’ve missed the final. Then watching Keano’s performance against juventus after he was booked and went on to miss the final. The guy is without doubt one the greatest captains/ leaders ever. I’m a city fan.

Watching games from that time you see what a great passer he was. Not amazingly creative but 90% of the time it was a forward pass. Very few can do that!

John Hartson was a diamond for Celtic. The old view used to say he was so immobile he had moss growing on his shoes, but I saw him play and he was a cracking and intelligent footballer. I'd listen to John there.

I'm not a big football fan. I once took my football-mad son to a Wales vs Argentina game in Cardiff. John was sort of centre midfield/forward. The way it went all evening was: one of the backs or midfielders hoofed the ball up the middle to an apparently otherwise stationary, but leaping, John Hartson - who then deflected a header onto the feet of his advancing forwards either side of him. Like a reliable precision instrument. Just fantastic to watch it was.....

Always have been I'm a big Liverpool fan. But I used watch United matches and just watch Roy Keane and how he got from box to box and his passing was the best at United nice a quick passing always United sent him packing just like Ronaldo for speaking the truth.
