Edmonton-based musician John Hewitt is a seasoned storyteller and multi-instrumentalist, known for blending influences from classic artists like Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Neil Young. Originally from Sault Ste. Marie, he moved to Alberta in 2018 and has since made a significant impact on the Western Canadian music scene, performing over 150 shows annually across North America. Whether playing solo or with his band, The New Americans, Hewitt’s work ethic, prolific output, and heartfelt performances set him apart in today’s music landscape.
This is part two of our two-part session. We had so much fun putting this together. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. So, one more time... ladies and gentlemen... John Hewitt.
