Feels too much like an interview to me. Today a lot of interviews come across as a conversation, which I like better.

Beautiful movie. Smart, funny, simple, thought-provoking, sarcastic, Americana, and non-PC. Best comedy ever.

Before "Ferris" shot, Broderick had been playing Eugene Jerome in Neil Simon's play "Biloxi Blues" with Alan Ruck playing Don Carney. A couple of years later, Mike Nichols directed Broderick in a film version of the play, with Casey Siemaszko playing Ruck's role.

Trying desperately to make something out of Mia Sara’s “lack of ambition” was pretty nauseating IMHO. Literally a non issue and yet, he would not drop it. Other than that it was fun seeing these vintage interviews.

This was post John Hughes Mullet days. That Mullet, wow. If i have ever looked at someone and saw this geek face and then saw that hair flowing out the back downward, you can just cut that hair out of your picture of the individual and they are an immediate geek looking person again with the big glasses and prim and proper hair. Try it with an interview when he had the mullet , it's just crazy. I which I could link up an interview when he had the mullet but they are hard to find because he generally doesn't do interviews. By the way, he was a very quick writer. Yea, he wrote some bombs, but there is NO ONE in hollywood today, that can write a screenplay faster or a story or a comic piece. How did he do it? He just had a lot of energy to do it. It wasn't that he was smart, he was a drop-out,,,,but he was just unique, that's all.

Did John Hughes ever make a bad movie?
@killyourtelevision999

Sixteen Candles had some problems. Two problems that come to mind: a lack of antagonist, a Chinese character that wasn't very amusing and added nothing to the story.
@beevezeepe6615

@@killyourtelevision999, the story was meant to be an ensemble. Being different in such a way that an "antagonist" is not missed makes it more unique and still thoroughly entertaining. The movie isn't lacking anything nor are those its "problems."
@rickblaine8383

@@killyourtelevision999 Nothing to do with that interpretation and the supposedly "problematic" content is only in the minds of the American left-wing media. It is a wonderful film about first love, coming of age, family bonding, sexual awakening and an ode to fun.

What right do you have to ask such a stupid question? If you doubt our rights then by all means contact the copyright holder with whom we have an exclusive contract for the last 9 years. The same client that we invested over $100,000 to transfer their archive which was rotting away in various vaults. It truly amazes me how people such as yourself have no life and post things thinking they know what they’re talking about when in fact they don’t know Shit. Does this answer your question?
