On 6/9/1983, John Kevin Wasson, 61,
Roman Catholic, married father of 5, RUC police constable was shot x6 outside his home, after returning from night duty at Gough Barracks, Armagh.
The murder was perpetrated at Duke`s Grove, Armagh, Northern Ireland, by INLA terrorists. A family in the estate had been held hostage.
Constable Wasson worked in emergency control and never carried a gun.
A male from Armagh was sentenced for this and 2 other RUC murders.
Constable Wasson had hoped to retire shortly and have a holiday.
Constable Wasson`s wife saw the murderers flee.
