Lennon was a true rebel. He was never afraid to speak truth to power and take on the establishment of his time. He had a strong mind and a sharp tongue. Most people that make it in life follow the masses and play it safe. Lennon wasn´t like that, and he ultimately paid with his life. But we should treasure people like him, they´re a rare breed.

Oh wow! Finally found this song after watching Children Of Men for the 2nd time since about '07. I always knew this was a Beatles, or Lennon song. Id always call it the "do it do it do it" song. Lucie as in the sky? With diaminds? Man , I remember my parents used to jam to this when I was young.

Was 14 in 1964. John Lennon to me was the most important voice for freedom worldwide. Lennon was for the people and in his short time on Earth blessed humanity seeking love and peace between nations. My favorite all time singer, antiwar leader and being a strong peace advocate. That's why he died.

Getting emosh listening to this for diff reasons...poor Lennon getting shot dead..the message in this song..I lost another job in my life..during lockdown..redundancy was there way of letting go of someone I caused problems for speaking up..I’m proud to say that every boss I’ve worked for I’ve been a hard good grafter but never a puppet..ever..I’ll always find another way..another job..never been scared to speak my mind when having the piss took out of me..I’m 46..got beautiful kids/grandkids..I ain’t a saint..who is? never let the bastards get yer down people 💪🏻

I think the song Mind Games is a crown in philosophy by John Lennon. Never heard so much of the rest of the album but always liked the name of this song but it's a much better listen than it was to me when the album came out. Bring On The Lucy!!
