On Milk and Honey, his last album, the last track is about 22 minutes of his last interview, which took place on December 08th, 1980, the day he died. In it, in the last few minutes or so, he mentions death, and about dying, and hoping it wouldn't happen for a long time, not knowing in a few short hours he'd be gone. I cannot imagine Yoko's grief, as she was there to hear that, then to see him die. I cannot imagine the interviewers thoughts after hearing the devastating news...

If you listen to John's comments in interviews way back in their early career, as well as lyrics, hecwas always talking about death. He told a reporter he'd rather be shot in answer to his question. The notion he would die young in a plane crash ( like the one that killed Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Richie Valens), or by some looney!! The lyrics to songs are also mentioning death. It may be a coincidence or premonition, Tomorrow Never Knows,Across the Universe disguise death as a sort of mystical trip. The Paul is dead clues could actually be about John. I am the "Walrus" means a corpse in Greek language. The Ballad of John/Yoko..." they're gonna crucify me". Happiness is a warm gun??? I nearly died was a lyric phrase from No Reply. This list likely has more references than I can recall, but you get the drift!

Chapman said one of the reasons he ended John Lennons life was because of the Beatles are bigger than Jesus comment. So in a really bizarre twist of fate that comment came back to haunt him years down the line and even though he got gunned down and not crucified it had the exact same impact as the crucifixion because it turned John into a martyr and turned him into a Legend . I am not sure if the security guard who found Johns last autograph on the floor has sold it at auction. But that album with his signature on it is classed as the most valuable and sought after item in all of modern music. Essentially the holy grail

Also on the documentary about Imagine, it showed a mentally ill guy approaching the studio where him and Yoko were and telling John how he believed The Beatles music was written specifically for him. John was just speaking patiently to try and talk some sense into him, as if being approached by people with mental illness was a regular thing. He even invited the guy into the house and gave him something to eat. It was like he accepted and made peace with whatever could come his way and just wanted to live his life, even if he felt like it would be short.

Well, not to mention that in 1969, Lennon repeatedly whispers, "Shoot Me" throughout "Come Together." Listen with headphones to hear it. In 1971, Lennon says in an interview that John and Yoko are willing to be the world's clowns for peace, because all the serious people got shot. And even as late as Dec. 6, 1980, Lennon says in an interview that "I'm a pacifist. But what is it to be such a pacificist that you get shot? I can't understand that. I can't work it out." And finally, on his posthumous album, "Milk and Honey," there's my favorite song from that period of time, called "Borrowed Time." He sings, "Living on Borrowed Time without a thought for tomorrow. But the most haunted one of all is that the night Lennon fell to the ground, he was carrying under his arm, the tapes that he and Yoko had just completed for her new single, "It Happened." Yoko sings, "It happened at a time of my life when I least expected." Lennon had just hours earlier, laid down the lead guitar for that song.

Jesus didn't want to be a lord over anyone else. That's worldly power/hierarchy thinking that he didn't have. He didn't want to dominate or control anyone as lords do. He taught and exemplified principles of love, humility, and service. His leadership was characterized by self-sacrifice and servanthood. Jesus never demanded for anyone to worship him. Second, Lennon was right. The Beatles were more popular than Jesus at the time among young people. It's just a correct observation.

Dann singt er " Two Spirits Dancing so strange!" Das sind Yoko und Sean, die Mann und Vater verloren haben. Dieses Lied beschreibt genau die Situation, als John und Yoko aus dem Studio nach Hause kamen. Man muß nur die Worte deuten können.
