That was a Farrah Fawcett wannabe style back in the day (late 70's - early 80's) - not crazy about them either but am also not crazy about Mary's holier than thou attitude.

Oh, that John Dixon is so condescending and smug, I just want to smack him! As I'm sure several Oakdale residents do. One thing that I feel ATWT really had going for it at this time was the music it utilized. The pieces in this episode are just beautiful. I believe that Charles Paul was producing this, and his daughters were involved to some degree. Can anyone verify this?

Lisa and Johnny Boy exchanging barbs! Don Hughes is being so naïve about Joyce after what she had done to him back in 1978.

And John and David. I've always wanted to see what the John/David feuds were like. Need to see John/Susan teaming up against Kim/Dan and John/Dan feuds from the 70s.

After a while, Joyce got Grant interested in her but Lisa also wanted him back. So Joyce went to her physical doctor back in San Francisco regarding some headaches she was having, got an opportunity to steal some letterhead and wrote a note alluding to a terminal brain tumor. This caused Grant to pity her until Lisa came up with the proof she was faking. About the same time Mary took Teddy and moved back to Laramie, later joined by Donald. Once Grant learned about Joyce's faking her illness, he confronted her saying he never wanted to see her again. Worn out by both Joyce and Lisa, he left Oakdale. Since there was now nothing holding her to Oakdale, Joyce also left town for parts unknown.
