Calling somebody a genius isn't necessarily praise to them but rather a way of explaining how they've reached that level of evil. I mean I think the molestor from "Abducted in Plain Sight" was a genius. I've watched a lot of true crime and I've never seen a child molester manipulate not just his victim but her entire family so successfully. That's not praise or admiration to him, that's just my commentary and way of rationalizing how somebody so sick could destroy the lives of so many people and continue to get away with it.
@shamspuri2493

Hitler too could be said to be a 'genius' to have orchestrated atrocious and horrendous crimes against humanity, but that's certainly not an accolade you would want to attribute to him, so yes, it so beggars belief that the predator Mr Ailes is considered a 'genius' by a former female employee of Fox News!

I don't know if the scene at Ailes childhood home with his son is true, but it was eerily reminiscent of an incident I witnessed, for real. I worked with very young abused children for a time. I had a mother who had just come out of a counseling session come into the nursery, her little one year old, just learning to walk, heads towards her. I just couldn't believe my eyes when the mother darted off to the side so she would fall down. My heart is racing just remembering. Then she said "get up, it's a tough world out there". We all know life is hard, but how can anyone expect to have anything but misery as a result of the assault on a child's trust in her mother. I have often wondered how this little girl turned out and send her compassionate thoughts.

I'm fond of the bridge because I've walked it a few times. And every time there are 25 - 30 "watching" (sometimes more). It's possible that 'those' viewers are witnessing so that should an event occur AND proceed . . . that there are probably 20-25 potential different routes for fugitives to travel in and the City's labyrinthine maze of cams are available for all or some of these "viewers" to witness AND advise police 'authority' to move safely and efficiently in protecting the public while bringing "the event" to peaceful conclusion.

Professionally, Ailes was a visionary and his creation of Fox News was brilliance. Yes, we are all aware of the bias, but here I refer to the execution. On a personal level, the man was incredibly inappropriate and ruined many lives (there's no coming back forced fellatio in the workplace - that scar is for life). That said, this interview also hints at the dark issue of nepotism (being protected by a relative) and the fact that women are so often their own worst enemies as they are thoughtless with their words and actions. There is absolutely no doubt that the extremely toxic political atmosphere that Ailes helped to foster was a major contributing factor in the assassination attempt on then-(U. S.) Rep. Gabrielle Giffords back in January 2011. indeed, i am entirely convinced that award-winning actor John Lithgow's portrayal of Ailes will be generating 'Oscar buzz' for Lithgow. indeed, there is the distinct possibility that Lithgow could very well garner an Oscar for Best Actor.

"There were a lot of women who weren't bimbos and zippering skirts in Rogers office...that was not portrayed" So she just called women who have been harassed and intimidated 'bimbos'. Abby, you do realize that Gretchen and Megyn are hard-working women who were HARASSED and many other women were as well. You sit there with the privilege of a Huntsman and say that people who worked hard were not portrayed HOW DARE YOU?! I may not agree with Megyn on 99% of her views but I would never tear her down for what happened to her nor would I belittle her by referring to her and the others in a round about way as somehow less than. Shame on you. You are part of the problem and referring to other women in that way makes me lose much of the little remaining respect I had for you.
