Simple Brian, big tech and woke Marxists have too much to gain by dividing people. As a mixed race Native who is also disabled and LGBTQ I went from helping organize Occupy in my community, and then campaigning for Bernie Sanders in 2016, to voting for Trump in 2020. The left has completely lost me FOREVER. I will never vote for a Democrat or woke deranged leftist for the rest of my life hands down. Fact is, it is saying something when someone who spent nearly 15 years fighting for leftist causes could be driven so far away from the left after the left claims to be the ones championing the rights of minorities like myself. I not only left the leftist cult, but before that I left the LDS Church at the age of 13, and both hearing woke garbage and Book Of Mormon passages make me violently ill. The left really should congratulate themselves for being the reason so many minorities like myself hate the left.

For those parents who want to teach their kids to read via phonics, I used a book called Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. I get what the last line about Martin Luther and Martin Luther King is going for, but, having some knowledge of those two figures, it really does not make any sense. First, because Martin Luther himself was an effective reformer who made reasoned arguments and who is a actually a seminal figure in the development of the classical liberal ideology that FAIR is championing. Second because Martin Luther King jr. was inspired and informed by his Baptist convictions, about nonviolence and the dignity of every member of the human family, just as he was inspired by the liberal ideas expressed, for example, in the Declaration of Independence. I think the distinction should be between good and bad religion, not between religion and no religion.

People who don’t take responsibility for their problems, end up having character disorders. “Racism” can be an excuse not to solve your own problems from your life experience. When character-disordered individuals blame someone else or their bad influences; be it racism, sexism, schools, the government, society and “the system” for their problems; then these problems will always persist and nothing will be accomplished. By casting away responsibility, an individual may feel more comfortable with themselves, but they have ceased to solve the problems of living. At its worst, a person becomes a dead weight for society and they cast their pain onto others.

Your talking about individuals an with that i agree but that isnt what this is. When he talks about my people. Hes talking about the collective of black americans. Thats what we have always meant. You all always do this an say nonsense like that but he are talking about the collective of the black American community as a whole. When whyte people dismiss what we say an want to pull an "im whyte and I say so slave owner nonsense" telling us what to do, how to feel what we should an shouldn't do with our owed reparations and having whyte people police our own community, towns and cities predominantly populated by black people thats literally the entire definition of what we day when we say racism. That very definition that you whyte people never even use right when they are the ones that created the concept and word to begin with. Do you understand now why we call out injustice when it comes to whyte society inhumanly forcing your will onto black americans. Even in the media you all think you can use us an decide anything for us like we are still your property an you all can't see how evil that is to show your own children that. He is absolutely right in making this video. You all have never changed an this is why we cant ever trust whyte people as a collective.

I agree, but mostly because I lost the connection. I've lived and worked in the black community and I relate in that most of my suburban neighbors who buy into white guilt and supremacy do so primarily because their guilt is based on actually being disconnected from that community and accepting what they are told in terms of systemic racism, etc., e.g., the average black person worries most about them or their child being shot by a police officer rather than other violence from within. Many also explain the basis for how they think on the fact their parents were racists; but when asked who if any of our neighbors were...they couldn't. I lived and was active in the 60's and the basis for declaring racism was founded. People looked to improve our relationships. Now that we have, they work to deny them because it is not politically expedient.
@ancientfuture9690

@@SamuelNegusse I don't think it does tbh coz I would consider myself a religious thinker. The point he's making is that there is a 'religious dimension' to it. In the same way that an unsophisticated (or literalist) Christian would answer "Because God..." or "Because the Bible..." instead of tackling difficult questions head on, a 'Woke' individual, when cornered, would reply "Because racism" expecting that to be a satisfactory answer. And then there's also the heretic element even if you simply have questions to put forward that is religious in tone. There are countless more examples which could summarise why we are seeing the hatching of a new religion before our very eyes.
@SamuelNegusse
2 жыл бұрын
@@ancientfuture9690 I agree completely with the analysis that there’s a religiosity to ‘Wokism’. But as you have noted, the similarities are to unsophisticated (I prefer ‘arrogant’) religiosity. Too often, he seems not to care about these distinctions. Putting Martin Luther and virtu signaling on the same side, I felt, was one manifestation this. Maybe this one was an oversight by the graphics team, but still.

The only thing I don’t agree with is the war on drugs. And only for this reason. I grew up in the inner city. There are ways to make money or work if you are willing. But dealing drugs should never be an excuse for getting out of a financial situation. Because remember. Who are you selling to? Your community. And even if it was legal, the very presence of most drugs are extremely detrimental to people’s lives. Most dealers aren’t caught anyway, and most are out of jail in no time. We just need to repair the moral fiber of our community. Then we can start to see change.

@@amfarrell42 I agree that it is a very serious health problem, and should be another prong in the approach. But I'm also referring to the collateral damage of drug dealing. _The birth control is dead wrong. It only exacerbates the problem. Chastity and self control is key._ While I concur that chastity and self-control is the best approach, pragmatically speaking that's just not going to happen with everyone. For those who aren't going to choose that option, birth control makes the best of an imperfect situation. _If you don’t believe me, just look at how many children have been born out of wedlock since the widespread distribution/acceptance of birth control._ Correlation does not imply causality.
