Man I listened to that for 2 days straight. I know every song on that one and love them all too. "Sara Smile" and "She's Gone" are my favorite songs from them. Those are super good memories! So often I hear artists kinda get whiny or play things off because they are exhausted of it all, but many people cherish and appreciate the longevity. She's Gone, which is my favourite from H&O, was released twice during the 1970s. First in 1974 reaching #64 when they were signed to Atlantic Records and then again in Aug 1976 when they switched record labels to RCA and reaching #7. Rich Girl was their first #1 song in America on Mar 26 1977 for 2 wks. During the 1980s, they had 5 #1 songs and 13 top 10 hits! Im happy they were finally inducted into the RRHOF!

In that respect, their story reminds me much of the "Indigo Girls. They first met in school, noticed each other's singing in their high school choir, and reslly started performing together when attending Emory University. Amy Ray and Emily Saliers have each done independent albums, but are FAR better known for their phenomenal HARMONIES as a duet, (both vocally, and on the many guitars and other stringed instruments they each play) ... and with the various other musicians they have had accompany them (or whom they have accompanied) at various times. (Like their own band; various musicians at Lilith Fair and other festivals over the years; Buffy Ste. Marie; Pink; Anne Murray; Joan Baez; Brandi Carlisle; etc.). In fact, I recall reading that they were a huge influence or catalyst for many of the on-stage and casual off-stage musical collaborating that happened during the (three?) tours of all-women-performer "Lilith Fair" concert tours that Sarah McLachlan organized. Four or more decades later, the Indigo Girls are still creating and performing fabulous music. [One of my musician friends from the years I lived in England, actually studied the sound of the Indigo Girls' tunes, and taught himself to play guitar and keep improving upon his skill, by copying their tunes!]
