I remember him being on American Bandstand and being so mysterious as to where he was from, etc. Happy to see he's now worth over $200 million dollars and still singing! (SO cute, too)!

Every time I hear this song, I feel like I grow eagle wings and soar high in the sky. Some songs reach deep into your soul and inject adrenaline.... This is one of those songs.

I have all of John's albums, I just can't stop listening to him! Love grammar, Somebody stole my thunder, time, the best, Restless heart, It's starting all over again, two hearts. I'm 35, but I wish I could have been a teen in 85 st Elmo's fire!

That rhythm guitar sounds so sweet, drums too. One of those great songs that never get old, have the same positive mood lifting energy every time you hear it. Thanks John and these great musicians :) Yesterday on iTunes I bought the live version, sounds so smooth & refined, and bought the acoustic live version, so peaceful & beautiful :)

Sounds like he had to drop down one full step. Not a big deal. He was almost 60 when he sang this. Still, he's on pitch and sounds silky smooth. The 80's were a fun period and lots of us played this song a million times back then.
