This tune's got the coolest chord progression of the entire album-great to solo over.Who cares about Eric Clapton-he's great, of course - but in this context? I dare him to solo convincingly, and otherwise, over these changes...it would take tons of practicing, and wouldn't even be natural , why? 'cause Clapton spent his life perfecting simpler Blues structures, not playing Bop. Different players

@stringcheese4life Scofield isnt only a jazz guitarist at all. I actually would say theyre both blues masters. check Sco´s blues licks, think bout that. Clapton is more minimalistic by his own option. I dig Sco, But he is not God, lol (@Davidjohnstephens)

Comparing Clapton to Sco is like comparing JK Rowling to Kafka. Kafka ain't better. Just different. More complex. Probably more technically developed in literary ways. Different tastes and suitable for different occasions. That said, I couldn't listen to Eric Clapton for more than 2 songs, else I'd fall asleep.
