This is a watercolor practice to learn from Master painter John Singer Sargent and his technique in creating beautiful fresh watercolors. The video is 30 minutes long with no time-lapse. In other words, in real-time. I share some of my thoughts while I am creating the work. I hope you get some pointers out of it. I know I learned a lot. If you want a free PDF just send me a message or if you want me to paint another one from Sargent, please let me know which one. If you have any ideas you want me to incorporate in the future please let me know.
I mention a quote from Degas, but I was paraphrasing. This is the real quote:
“ A painting requires a little mystery, some vagueness, and some fantasy. When you always make your meaning perfectly plain you end up boring people.” -Edgar Degas
All work is for sale. This one is available for $200

The reference book at the top of my table is The Watercolors of John Singer Sargent by Carl Little....I'm still trying to figure out which one the bigger book on the left is.
