Love the level of details on his builds, love especially the Mikey Thomson mustang funny car, that looks like a museum piece

I met John Teresi at a show at Victorville years ago. I was with a couple of friends, John Clayton and Dave Baldwin and we had some models on a table for display only and were promoting John Clayton' Desert Racing Models group. John Teresi was there with a couple or 3 drag racing models. Pretty nice stuff. Nothing compared to what he puts out these days. But quite good. He and I talked a time or 3 during the day. And I remembered him. Talked to him shortly a couple times this past year, at the NHRA museum and the SoCal NNL. My dad was old hotrod buddies with Mickey Thompson and in the 40s they worked together at Isky's shop. I saw the blue Monocoque Mustang up close at the Grand Opening for Ontario Motor Speedway in 1970. It and the 69 M/T Mustang that Danny Ongais was the 1st to break into the 6es with were used for demo runs to qualify the new dragstrip for future races. Then later saw both the blue and red monocoques and the 69 up close in Mickey's shop in Long Beach. John Teresi's model is incredible.
