I was a senior in high school when he was killed. He is still remembered by many of us for his great voice and wonderful music...Johnny Burnette RIP

He was one of my favorites, so sad he got killed in a boating accident at only 30 years old, may you rest in peace Johnny, you will be remembered by some of the beautiful songs you recorded !!

I was shocked to find out he drowned in Clearlake, CA. It is the small town I grew up in.
