Thanks for sharing Johnny with me . I'm 55 and struggling with medical issues. When I was a kid my Dad worked on a rotating shift when he was home and Johnny came on we would stay up together and enjoy the show then I got tucked into bed. These old shows are fun and comforting.

I know what you mean about these shows being fun and comforting. My mom and I would often watch some of it together, too, before she went to bed. She passed away years ago, but us watching the Tonight show together was some of the good memories I had with her.

Thank you so much for sharing these, I live in Australia but know and respect the awesome legend and legacy of Johnny Carson, sadly though living in Australia 🦘 I've only ever had the true pleasure of seeing single interviews I absolutely love these, thank you so much mate, on behalf of Australia... 😎👍🏻

The golf thing from Chevy’s show was funny especially knowing that Caddyshack was still 3 years away. Also, Chevy and the actress Marilyn Sokol who appeared later in the show would appear together in Foul Play in the summer of 1978, the next year.

Absolutely on point. Chase and Pryor two overrated narcissists. Hampton had real talent as an actor. Good observation. Carson lost control and got nasty w Hampton.

For whatever reason, Doc Severinsen usually did that when Carson walked on stage for each show.
