When you’re a 2 digit multimillionaire it’s actually cheaper not to have a health insurance. Insurances only make money buy charging you MORE than what you would statistically incure in actual costs. Else no insurance company could make a profit. So you only insure a cost, that if it actually incurred, you wouldn’t be able to pay it without getting in significant problems. If a normal person gets a 50.000 Dollar hospital bill for breaking his arm, he probably would be in a lot of trouble unless you’re a millionaire. So... I doubt he has medical insurance. Wouldn’t make much sense. (Assuming his insurance premium would also be significantly higher than normal, because of his job). For a normal healthy 2 digit multi millionaire it would never make sense to have a health insurance. At least not financially.

I love Knoxville's answer to the 'Prank Rules' question. It sounds so weird but he's basically a leading expert on pranks, hearing this from him is like listening to a biologist talk about photosynthesis. "We try to aim everything at ourselves. The stuff you're talking about, it's dark, and it's not funny when you bring all that anger into it. There's a way to do a prank and get a big reaction and not have to go to those places." I despise all these pranks that bait you into watching and thrive off of pissing off strangers or nearly giving them a heart attack. Knoxville's way of using someone random off the street is more like when a Magician pulls someone from the crowd.

Omg you couldn’t have said it any better. I seriously loved that part, I was sitting here like “holy shit he really has passion for what he’s been doing” not that I didn’t know, but it’s one thing always watching him compared to speak about what we watch him do.

I appreciate Johnny’s answer on crossing the line on pranks. I do feel that pranks nowadays aimed at random people, and you can’t tell either it’s real or staged. What’s great with Johnny and the crew is that their pranks are 100% real and it’s at their expense instead of others so you know that he care of the general public.

Thumbs up Sean! But... a critique. Man, the music score choices were all freaking wrong. It made the entire interview seem really somber as if Johnny was drenched in sadness. I'm sure that's not how it was when you shot it. But man, from where I sit. It was like you guys were trying to convey to us with music that Johnny was going through some sad, personal crisis. Different music and sound accents next time maybe for him? Perhaps it's just because of how his vocal tone was vs the sound choices made in editing? Just a thought.
@Kev2Tall
6 жыл бұрын
Johnny may not be going through anything sad directly, but to look at him and hear him be so sharp mentally but see in his eyes how broken and beaten his mind and body are from all the years Jackass and beyond plays directly with the music choices. Though I do agree that more upbeat music is preferred based on the premise of the show.

Krock I kind of feel like this guy has a lot of experience but it may be the wrong type of experience. Like he worked on Reality TV before this or something. I just hope he acclimates to a different style, he seems skilled at least... Just out of his element...
