I saw a funny comic strip that had about 20 young Punks, complete with exaggerated Mohawks, piercings and ripped clothing. One of them spots a single man walking down the street wearing a business suit and he says to his large group of look-a-like friends, "Hey guys! Get a load of this conformist!". Stouthuyzen Bob Despite the fact that NoFX have told commercial tv and radio stations not to play their stuff, because of their punk sensibilities. Fat Wreck Chords was started up by NoFX's Fat Mike to release punk records, they offer bands one-album deals so that they can retain their independence, and not be tied to any corporate conglomerate. NoFX have never been signed to the same label as the Spice Girls or Janet Jackson, and they've certainly never done an ad campaign for a brand of butter, or appeared in a prime-time reality tv show. Unlike 'punk' media personality John Lydon.
