Wow I don't care how many times I watch these vids of Johnny, they never fail to give me goosebumps. He was so good.

You're right! I remember watching this with my friend and he was all hung up on David Gilmore and Neal Schon. At the end Johnny smoked everybody in the "Johnnie B. Goode" jam with all the Guitar Greats!

I remember watching this special on MTV - had a bunch of guitar greats onstage - Neil Shone and everyone else but JOHNY blew them all away - he had the audience on their feet. This is one of the songs Johny did - starts out a little slow but then he just tears it up - wish I could find this special on DVD

Johnny doing a killer version of Robert Johnson's When You Got a Good Friend, but this is the edited version (which I don't understand why someone would post this edited version) the full version is over 15 minutes long. This edited version should be deleted from You Tube.

Yes, the entire thing is a whole-step down, whereas SRV was a half-step down, and EVH was a quarter-step down.
