No matter how complex your drumming is, people must be able to dance or feel from your drums alone, that feeling is the motif, concept or meaning, for every single note you play and what puts behind every other drummer who wastes so many meaningless notes around the drum kit, for me this is one of the most important lessons about Jojo's drumming not only technique but technique in order to communicate. Drumming is not a sport but an art!

I've watched this live in Frankfurt. 15 mins after the show I saw him ordering coffee with his friend. I still regret that I couldn't go say hi or get his signature. But I mean... could you?

i know Jojo is a freakin animal no matter what grip he uses, but i always like watching him play using traditional
