Don’t underestimate how much influence this song had on country music at the time. When this came out in early 2016, country music was it its lowest point since the mid-1980’s. There was zero authenticity. This was the transitionary period between Bro-country and boyfriend country where the name of the game was to sound as corporate and formulaic as possible. The thought of something this traditional-sounding succeeding at radio was unheard of. But it did, and it paved the way for not only traditional country to be successful again, but also authenticity. Even though much of country radio in 2024 is hardly traditional, it’s much less formulaic than it was back then.

Apparently this is the #1 country wedding song. I can just imagine how cute this would be to play as she's walking down the isle. :)
