I think that he was just drunk and on drugs too often to be trusted. They also would not allow him to reenlist. I’m surprised they didn’t give him a dishonorable discharge judging by the fact that he was never sober in the army. Always LSD or speed or something. He just about lost his hand when he was wasted drunk one time by falling through a sheet of glass he was leaning against. His sergeant saved his life by wrapping a belt around my dad’s arm. He apparently told my mom that they wouldn’t let him reenlist because his mom ended up talking to the army and wouldn’t let it happen LOL (found out that story recently since he’s passed no point in mom hiding secrets anymore)

Classic example of a Hollywood burnout: Sex, coke and rock and roll. Hollywood was full of these sorts back in the 70s and 80. They either crashed and burned (Julia Phillips), died of heart attacks (Don Simpson) or lived long enough to tell the tale but completely lost touch with reality (Peters).

This one and the hotep jesus one are among the few episodes I had a really hard time getting through. Listening to this guy, specially after the two previous episodes, was pretty rough.

Jon Peters and Joe Biden would have a great time together, they can discuss their life stories which are beyond believable!
