I walked through Tower Records one day and listened to Plumb. I was hooked. I saw this album later and I immediately adopted it as my anthem. This song, paired with Landmine and Because I Told You So was the soundtrack to my formative years. Thanks for being a great human Jonatha. Thanks for sharing and delving into our pain with us.

It's sad she never had a bigger fan base because I think she is one of the best female singer/songwriters out there today. (Joni Mitchell takes the top spot imo). GREAT voice!

She's truly underappreciated. The fact that her record company dumped her in the middle of this magnificent record (10 Cent Wings) was a crime.

I still remember hearing this song and wanting this CD...oh, early 1998? A song I never get tired of hearing. And just hearing it again after a long, long time is like visiting an old friend.

Well before ALL the great radio stations were bought by the 24/7 TOP 40 corps You could call and request your faves. However here in NE Ohio noboby heard of the Story Or Nanci Griffith except College Radio. The famous 89X in Detroit/Windsor was sold several weeks ago.
