MyName IsLily I getcha, I’m 19 now, now legally seen as an adult, just a few years ago I was still a child, even now as a young adult, growing up is scary coz it only means my life could become more challenging and less easy overtime. I still sometimes wish I could go back to the days where I didn’t have to worry. But eventually you realise, no matter how old you get and how much more wiser and mature you become, deep down we’re all still kids with a youthful spirit. We may all have to grow up, but it doesn’t mean we have to grow old 👍🏼😊

When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I was at the stage where I really, really wanted to be a grown-up. People would tell me stuff like "CHERISH YOUR CHILDHOOD!" and "You're still a kid!" and I was like "Yeah yeah, whatever." Really wish I listened to them. Turning 16 soon, and CHRIST I hate growing up. I almost start bawling when I revisit Disney songs or TV show theme songs that I used to watch. It's just so emotional.

"On these magic shores, children at play are forever beaching their coracles. We too have been there; we can still hear the sound of the surf, though we shall land no more." -- J.M. Barrie (the creator of Peter Pan, as he describes Neverland) Every time... EVERY time I listen to this song (be it the newer version or the original one), I swear I can still hear it, too-- the "sound of the surf" that Barrie talks about, washing along the shores of the Neverland I once knew as a child. We all miss it. We all want to believe, again... be children, again... Even if it were just for one more night, most of us would do it in a heartbeat. We'd fly away to that precious world of our childhood dreams, where reality (and its many cruelties that we've come to know while growing up) can no longer reach us, let alone hurt us. We cry upon hearing this heart-achingly familiar song because we mourn for the unbiased, untainted and carefree child the lot of us used to be... for the fairies and magic that we're too old to believe in anymore... and most of all, we mourn for our beloved Neverland that we may sometimes hear but will never see again. :'-(

When I was a child, I only watched this because the pixie dust and flying caught my attention. I never looked past those two aspects of the movie. But now, when I watched this again, I understand that its more than just a little pixie dust and flying, its about friendship, trust, faith and love. In all Peter Pan Return to Neverland, is a tale of finding hope in a time when hope was hard to believe in.

Our dad introduced us to Disney movies. We'd have movie nights on Fridays. Now I'm 26 - I've lost my dad last year, and I clicked on this video without expecting this song could bring so much memories. I miss my dad. I wish I could go back in time and keep it still. For some reason I feel like Wendy - the memory of my dad trapped in time like Peter and this same memory I just have to bring with me as I move forward. Unlike Wendy though, I have yet to make peace with the fact that I have to grow old without him.

Its because when I'm at Disney, it doesn't matter how old I am, they'll still call me princess. No matter how old I get, I won't be judged for crying my eyes out during Wishes or actually believing that dreams can come true. When it comes to Disney, I'll never really be a grownup.

I’ve heard a lot of comments about “Return to Neverland” not being up to the magic of the original “Peter Pan”, but that’s a lot of hogwash, in my opinion. It’s better than the first, in important ways. I wasn’t alive when the first film was made, it was a favorite of my parents from their contemporary childhoods. The sequel came at a very special time of my formative years, and one might say I was a lot like Jane in the film. It captivated me as a child, and helped me to appreciate the creative genius of both films. I imagine as time goes on, “Return to Neverland” will get a fan following similar to “Peter Pan”. A new film for a new generation, but honoring the previous film and generation.

For me, the sequel was super magical as the first one not just bc I watched it so many times when I was young but bc of the soundtrack that was put into it, I love listening to the score on my playlist and it really helps me keep going on believing in myself to accomplish reality and magical things like Peter Pan, Fairies, Neverland, and even Bambi 🥰🥰🥰

I remember when I was a little girl, my parents never showed me any of this... nor read me bed time stories or told me about mermaids, fairies, or anything else. I watched the old Disney classic movies with friends or during school in elementary. I love them so much and I still do. I'm 15 now and I still watch the old princess movies and Peter Pan. I'm still in love with Peter Pan.

When I get married and have children, I will always sing this song to them as they go to sleep. so that they can forget about their troubles and dream of Neverland. and when they get older I will show them through their bedroom window, which star leads to their dreams (Neverland) because dreams really do come true.

This song makes me cry, because it reminds me of those childhood years that you miss. I can only cry at this version. When i first realised I was growing up as a girl I turned to my mum and told her that neverland all of a sudden made sense. It made her cry.

this song gives me goosebumps. it reminds me so much of childhood and all the stars that I made wishes on. most of them have come true. thank you so much for sharing, Disney did leave behind a legacy and I'm sure somewhere he is smiling down on all the dreamers. to thesuzziswatching what an amazing daddy/daughter song. I'm sure you and your dad will have an amazing time dancing to this song. congrats on your wedding =]

:') I can't believe how fast my childhood went by. I remeber going to Disneyland when I was about 11 and my parents wouldn't let me get signatures from my favorite Disney stars because they thought it would cost them. Now I'm hoping to go back and get the signatures and maybe even a picture. I also remeber that I would wait for Peter to take me to Neverland after watching the movie for the first time. But now I know that there will always be a kid in us forever. I'm 16 and I still

reminds me so much of my best friend/ my puppy love. They migrated to California when we were both 10 and she made me watch this movie the night before they left. Now we'll be turning 21 this year but she hasn't come home yet. I really miss her

I really wish I had memories of going to Disneyland still. I went there when I was so young, I barely remember any of it! I just remember that I had the time of my life and wanted to try EVERY ride. So much good memories!

Such a beautiful singer with a song like lullaby. I so loved this movie when I was 3, and I still do. I really don't know why but when i hear this I imagine Aqua, Terra by her side, singing it for Ven in her arms looking at the night sky of the Land of Departure. ( the fans will understand )

I'm 15 years old now and peter pan was always a precious memory to me, watching Peter pan (the 1st one) made me think back to the old days when everything was so real. I still dream of Peter pan, I wish and pray to god every night that reality isn't for me, take me away to a place where I can be free again. I've been hurt so many times and am still bullied today, it doesn't hurt anymore. But when I lose a friend I cry. I broke down once in a class because my friends were bullying me. I forgott

You never do have to grow up...sure, everyone has to get older, but you really aren't required to grow up. I'm never going to grow up. I'm always going to have that child in my heart...even when I'm 80 years old. =]

I'm in my late -20's soon turning 30 this March 28 ... Last year of February 2020, when our country is in times of difficulties and hardship, I'm nearly in tears 😭 with the line " The second star ✨ to the right, shines in the night for you, to tell that the dreams " just made my eyes bawled in tears with my last encounter with my news 📰 anchor ⚓ family friend: Ryan Gamboa before the quarantine isolation lockdown. Being isolated at home the rest of the day, is quiet devastating and painful since the cure for the COVID-19 virus, was still in the process yet, and it would take a bit longer to made. I'm sad because once I turned 30 this March 28, no chance of having bonding with person's much older than me. Age 30 is the beginning of manhood and your time is UP! also, no chance of seeing and talk
