I hope you enjoy this Led Zeppelin tribute! I've envisioned this new arrangement for these two tracks for decades and FINALLY brought it to life the past year! These tracks feature Orianthi on guitar, Tony Boyd on bass guitar and Demetrius Houser on keyboard! We had a lot of fun working on these songs! A special thank you to Drumeo for giving me the opportunity to perform and capture these two songs in their studio! ❤ You can now buy "Moffett's Zeppelin Tributes" on Amazon Music! www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2WW622L/ref=sr_1_5?crid=O65T4UDCU8HQ&keywords=jonathan+moffett&marketplaceId=ATVPDKIKX0DER&musicTerritory=US&qid=1681891324&sprefix=jonathan+moffett%2Caps%2C123&sr=8-5&trackAsin=B0C2WW622L

Still can't get how this feels as it's being played with atomic precision while an insane groove is dominant at the same time. It's a paradox since the first is usually associated with a mechanical type of playing. From now on, this phenomenon should be called the Sugarfoot Paradox. Time after time, Jonathan Moffett shreds the rules of Universe while drumming.

I’m 56 now, and I haven’t played a full set in 7 years. Interesting number… I started playing when I was 7 years old. And like many of you, this man has lit a fire under me and I just GOTTA get back in the driver’s seat again ASAP! To kick it off, just 2 days ago my SweetBeats drumsticks arrived in the mail. Sugarfoot’s SweetBeats drumsticks. I got the Cobalt blue 2B’s with nylon tips on one end and wood tips on the other… this is the only time I’ve ever been excited about drumsticks in my life. I’ve played them all - Regal Tip, ProMark, Zildjian, Vic Firth… I stayed with the Vic Firth SD1 Generals for 28 years…28 years! But now it’s Jonathan Moffett’s SweetBeats 2B. I genuinely like them a smidge better than my tried and true SD1 Generals.. the dual weighting option is just BRILLIANT. Now I gotta get them in every other color. I’m like a kid again! This is freakin’ fantastic! At 56, and having grown into music in the 1970’s… sadly, most of my drum heroes have died already. Charlie Watts was like the nail in the coffin…. And then POW!.. like a FREIGHT TRAIN Jonathan Sugarfoot Moffett comes ROARING back into the forefront! I was lucky enough to have seen him years ago with both The Jackson’s and Madonna, and he was the best thing a drummer could see back then - the proof that a real drummer was still better than any drum machine. …and now, all I can say is HELL YEAH!! 🤘😆🤘

I think it's just the uncanny feeling. Having heard the original Kashmir a thousand times over 15 years, it just screws with the head when it's different than what's in your mind - no matter the top notch quality music on offer. For example, I was much more receptive of Whole Lotta Love edit, because I've not heard it more than a few times over the years.
@whiteninja2006

@@dotatwo5413 It's all subjective really. There are many things that I didn't like, especially the Keyboard parts. BUT, objectively, it's clear that it's played by great musicians and the level of musicianship is very high, there's no question about that. As such, I still enjoyed it very much without actually liking the rearrangement of the songs.
