We have plant based pit mixes!! They had skin issues when we adopted them. Our vet is great!! Changed to animal-free, lots of variety, they are GLEAMING!! Also, may your mom rest 😞 sooo sorry…. Prior to the accident, HOW did you get her on board??? My dad is making a few changes, but not enough. It’s hard for him to take advice from me.

Would love to know more about your pit mixes diet if you don’t mind sharing. I have a pit mix and she had sensitive skin since day one. She is 10 now but is thriving since I cook fresh for her everyday but always wish I could just have her plant based too

@@duli931 hi!! Sure, we give them Halo for wet (the lentil based 1), & VDog for dry. Twice a day both of those. They also get any produce they want throughout the day (carrots, apples, grapes (NO seeds), berries, celery, broccoli, sweet potatoes, melon, etc). We’ll put a scoop of what we have for dinner in their bowls too (grain bowl, soup, etc.) Lots variety, low calorie so FULL bellies & great health. We have a vet that is supportive but MANY vets out there are not supportive of veg for dogs.

@@maximesigouin that's odd. I know many vegans that eat good and don't own a juicer, and don't bother blending ... They eat fresh real foods. No need to juice! Of blend. Doesn't seem so surprising to me. We don't need to juice as your guess suggests, he wants to get people to juice.

You need the fiber eat the fruit, stop juicing so much! The fiber controls the natural sugar that comes with eating fruit.
@lauraestes9304
3 ай бұрын
Sometimes people are too sick to even move the fiber and cannot digest well enough to absorb the nutrients but they can get results from juicing immediately if their gut is not moving…. That was me due to 15 years of opiate addiction I couldn’t even get my gut to move fruit because of so much damage to my liver and gut…. I had to drink juices and if I didn’t I would’ve wasted away
12.666 lbs of watermelon flesh would give you 35 grams of protein and around 1723.5 calories
