Amazing! Not even the early Glenn Gould plays this piece that fast! I like it slower, the way Wolfgang Rübsam plays it, but Jordan is truely the wizard of keys and knows how to master various genres!

Gould definitely plays it at this tempo. The version I listen to most often if Gould’s is about this speed. Possibly a tad faster.

in fact, at some point I was really waiting for the characteristic "murmurs" (and I mean this seriously) for me they have quite close tempos, anyway, Rudess is a master in his own right.
@xXValomatXx

This is just not true. Not only does Glenn Gould play it faster, tho it doesn't matter, but plays precise like a clockwork. Mr Rudess takes a more artistic, emotional approach, way more dynamic and with some tempo changes, due to the difficulty. One could call it "sloppy".

@@crankfastle8138 I think that this kind of stuff has it's own public, that never develop an ear for musicality, I don't get it either but lately youtube's algorithm keeps going to this guy's videos, maybe he is popular right now?
