no one guitarist on this worls can be so incredible like JOSE FELICIANO withi is inimitable style and wide range. No one. No one can play on the same level like him from classical to flamenco, from jazz to folk, pop, latin, rock and hard rock also (see his blow-mind version of Purple Haze), no one can play like him with from the Vienna Simphony orch. to the same Jimi Hendtrix, Fingerstyle to plectro. From classical nylon guitar to Cuatro or Acuostic steel or electric. With good peace of RS mag
@horaciomont3158

I agree. he plays rock and roll on a nylon string guitar for example, and when it comes to rock and roll music we usually think of an electric guitar or a steel strings guitar. His strumming is hard and beautiful, he does bendings on nylon strings guitar and so on. He plays everything and besides HE SINGS TOO, better than many recognized guitarists. He has been underrated or ignored (I do not know how to say this in english) but he deserves to appear in the rolling stone magazine, hall of fame, etc. as one of the best guitarist and beside this, as a singer and composer. He tooks something ordinary and turns into something extraordinary. He has lights into his hands. Gifted by god with this amazing talent. Purple haze performed by him is amazing.

Is he better than Julian Bream? Or Al di Meola? Or than Paco de Lucia was? Who cares, tbh. It's music, pointless to argue whether one great better than another. Feliciano is a magnificent artist, a great player, a wonderful singer, with a real artistic flair as an interpreter.

I'm glad I listened to this one. A far more interesting artist than Noel Harrison especially so with this song. There was more feelings shown despite the fact that his eyes were obscured by his dark glasses, and truly provoked a feeling of authenticity, evoking all too familiar and tangent emotions and sensations that we experience in our everyday life however mundane or meaningful they may be. Noel H., on the other hand, undermined this song, with his restless eyes and nonexistent emotions.
