Lampard and Terry got all the glory (and rightly so), but let's not forget Petr Cech. Especially pre injury, he was a wall. Only 15 goals conceded in 04/05 and just 1 loss. Even that 1 loss was 1-0 to a penalty from Anelka. Greatest ever Premier League goalkeeper.
@KTBFFH

If cech played for United, the press and the public would no doubt universally laud him as the greatest GK. Because he played for Chelsea, and the indirect bias towards the club, he's only "one of the best". The man was unbelievable - underrated in the 2012 CL final too. KTBFFH
@kuhen25

@@KTBFFH Yeah, he won the CL for Chelsea. Drogba was instrumental, but Cech was the main reason. Let's not forget the penalty Drogba conceded in extra time which Cech saved. @Zzyzzyzzs

I don't think there was any doubt at the time that Cech was among the world's best; he was certainly England's best. Lehmann never totally convinced despite being an lnvincible, and Utd were only just coming out of their bad post-Schmeichel period with Bosnich, Barthez, Ricardo, Carroll and Howard, signing van der Sar in summer 05. If there was any debate it was because of Casillas, Buffon and Kahn also being active at the time, players who had genuine claims for also being among the world's best, but crucially also played for countries that could help prove it; the Czech Republic rarely qualified for or did anything of note so Cech could never be evaluated the same way. And to be fair, good as de Gea and van der Sar have been, l doubt anyone serious considers them on the same level as those three either.

Our best ever manager. To come from overseas with a mountain of pressure on you into the biggest league in the world and win it whilst conceding the least amount of goals was incredible. If only Roman had patience, he could’ve been what Alex Ferguson was to United.

The emotions you go through by having Jose Mourinho as your manager, you will never experience it with any other manager. I hope I will live long enough to see him manage Chelsea once again. The best manager ever.

Jose Mourinho's peak in the noughties were like Mike Tyson's prime years when they absolutely terrified their opponents and were just special ones that we will probably never experience before. Two of the greatest sports personalities ever.

"My biggest ambition is to win the next game. After that, my biggest ambition is to win the following one." I think it is a great message that tells us we should focus on one thing at a time within our ultimate goal.

That was an 'Almost Invincible' season, Anelka's penalty against Chelsea was the only reason they suffered the one and only loss of the season. Jose is a legend.
