Happy Friday skiers!
Today video we are talking about the commonly talked about phrase about pressing on the outside ski or pressing on the big toe to turn, and why that phrase can cause issues with skiing.
Long story short you can not make yourself weigh more than what you weight so pressing end up being both counter productive and more tiring than just standing and managing outside ski balance/pressure.
I fully expect to get flamed for this because of how many people use the term press on BTE or press on outside foot but I hope the video explains why this is objective wrong to say, and how to fix it.
